What is the pre-employment test before training starts?

To become an Air Traffic Controller off the street hire, I heard you have to first take their pre-employment test and then after passing physical exams, etc, be selected to train in Oklahoma City for three months.

However, what is the pre-employment test about? Without any prior ATC experience, how would someone pass this test?
