Just looking for some tips/advice about getting into cruise ship career…..done some research and know about long hours and months at sea but with free room/board and other travel positives. Been in security field for about 2 1/2 years at a 5 star luxury hotel/condo…curious how competitive ship security market is? I know that some lines have contracts to employ national candidates but what are some ships that have higher american employment ratios? any personal experience or helpful tips that can point me in the right direciton would be appreciated.
